SODA Fashion Haus

Smith Madden Creative Agency's client, Soda Fashion Haus on the Sunshine Coast, offers high-end formal wear from both Australian and international designers. The brand caters to women aged 25 to 50+, particularly those attending corporate events, weddings, and formal occasions.

The key focus for the branding was timelessness. To achieve this, we opted for a clean, sans-serif typeface that reflects the sleek, sophisticated aesthetic of the brand and its physical retail space.

A distinct element of the logo is the customized "A", which was inspired by the structure and silhouettes of high-fashion garments. This subtle yet unique modification reinforces the brand's connection to high-end fashion.

One of the biggest challenges during the branding process was defining the target audience. Initially, the client wanted to appeal to a broad market, but we refined the strategy to focus on a high-end clientele—those who value quality over quantity. This informed our design decisions, ensuring the brand feels aspirational and exclusive.

To maintain a minimal yet elegant aesthetic, we extended the brand identity with a neutral, refined colour palette that aligns with the store’s interior design. The brand’s primary font for marketing collateral and the website incorporates a serif typeface, adding contrast and hierarchy.
